Okay the rules are pretty basic for most roleplaying sites and there aren't really that many:
1. Don't Spam Spamming is random, pointless posts/threads that are really annoying to everyone. So don't even bother doing it.
2. Only Moderate Swearing Moderate swearing is allowed in RP, but not in OOC chat.
3. Stay Active Well that's pretty self explanitory. Stay active! If you start to RP with someone and then don't log in at all then that person is stuck there until you reply. We know that somtimes you must leave for an extended period of time, but if you do, please try to wrap up your current RP and leave a message saying "I am leaving for such and such, and will be gone for a period of so and so."
4. Roleplaying These are rules specific to in character roleplaying so listen closely!
* Absolutely NO Mary/Gary Sues Mary / Gary Sues are characters that are completely perfect. Nobody is perfect and they are really boring and annoying to RP with so just don't bother.
* Third Person ALL RPing should be in the third person. EXAMPLE: John walked up to Gary and chopped off his head. vs. I walked up to Gary and chopped off his head. The first is third person the second is first person. If you don't get it PM me.
* Proper Grammar / Spelling Please try to use proper grammar and spelling. We all make mistakes but we discourage AIM slang and bad grammer. Download Mozilla Firefox if you have problems spelling, it underlines misspelled words in red, similar to MS Word.
* OOC/IC When your speaking out of character please type OCC and when you return to your character please type IC in the roleplaying. It gets really confusing when you can't tell whether people are talking with or without their character.
* Godmoding Godmoding is when you say something happened with someone else's character without them saying it first. The only exception to this rule is the person telling you OCC that you may take over their character. EXAMPLE: Ari broke into tears so Fallon went over to comfort her. vs. Ari looked sad so Fallon went over to comfort her. You can't just infer that because someone is sad/happy that they're crying/laughing.
Any questions, debates, or concerns about the rules may be directed at me or any of the other staff.
